Security
Your callers' information, handled like you'd want yours handled.
Straight answers on recording, storage, access, and deletion.
- Call recording and consent
- Calls are recorded and transcribed so you can review them and so the tech can hear what the caller said. Contour plays the consent notice required in your state at the start of the call. You can turn recording off per shop.
- What we store
- Caller name, phone number, address, the issue they described, the booking, the recording, and the transcript. We store what a CSR would write on a ticket, and nothing we don't need to book the job.
- Where it goes
- Bookings go to your ServiceTitan tenant or Google Calendar through their official APIs. Notifications go to the phone numbers you choose. We don't sell or share caller data with anyone else.
- Mobile information
- No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the privacy policy for the full statement.
- Access
- Only your shop's users can see your calls. Contour staff access is limited to support with your permission and is logged.
- Retention and deletion
- Recordings and transcripts are kept for as long as you're a customer unless you set a shorter window. Ask us to delete a call, a customer, or your whole account and we will.
- Compliance
- TODO: state current SOC 2 status honestly (e.g. 'SOC 2 Type II in progress, report expected <date>') and any DPA availability for multi-location customers.
